Missoula

Montana is wild, natural, and untamed. Its vast terrain stretches from the Rockies to the Great Plains and includes two of the most beautiful national parks: Glacier & Yellowstone National Park.

Glacier National Park

4 nights

With its mountain lakes, alpine meadows, glaciers, and white mountain peaks, Glacier National Park slightly resembles Switzerland. The difference is that wild grizzly bears aren't roaming Switzerland! Glacier National Park is also home to beavers, otters, moose, and mountain goats.

Great Falls

1 night

Great Falls is a beautiful stop on the route between Glacier and Yellowstone National Park. It is located on the Missouri River in the heart of Montana. The vast, untouched landscapes offer plenty of outdoor adventure.

Cody

2 nights

Cody is located just east of Yellowstone National Park, less than two hours' drive away. The sights and activities in Cody, therefore, mainly revolve around the Wild West, which is also reflected in the street scene.

Yellowstone National Park is literally and figuratively a hotspot. The park is located on a dormant supervolcano in the middle of countless active geysers and heat sources. Enjoy forests, alpine meadows, a magnificent large lake, and a large canyon with waterfalls.

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park is characterised by the imposing Teton Range, which you can reach via various hiking trails. If you go hiking, a spectacular view awaits you at Jackson Hole. Marvel at a silvery-green valley with crystal-clear mountain lakes.

Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City is the capital of Utah. The city is surrounded by mountains, which provides a beautiful view. Forty-five minutes away at most are 14 ski resorts where you can enjoy 'the greatest snow on earth.'

Moab

Only eight kilometres north of Moab is Arches National Park, a place where you can admire countless sandstone arches.

Durango

Durango in Colorado has a rich past that you can explore in various ways. Step aboard a steam train from 1882, a train that winds through the San Juan National Forest, where countless gold diggers once tried their luck.

Monument Valley lies on the border of Utah and Arizona. You may know this iconic desert landscape from films such as Stagecoach, starring, John Wayne in 1939.

The eye-catching Zion National Park lives up to its name. How? Zion means 'sanctuary' in Hebrew.

Grand Canyon South Rim

The Grand Canyon is perhaps the most famous natural phenomenon in the United States. You can admire this iconic canyon on either the South Rim or North Rim. On the South Rim, it is best experienced at Pima Point, Yaki Point, and Grandview Point.

Sedona

This sun-kissed destination offers the unique beauty of the Wild West all in one place. Sedona is characterised by the rock formations of Red Rock Country and the canyons of Oak Creek Canyon. But it's up to you whether it really is "the most beautiful place on earth!"

Scottsdale

2 nights

The Sonoran Desert, nearby Scottsdale, is the most biodiverse desert on the continent. Featuring crisscrossing desert shrubs, wildflowers, and the legendary saguaro cactus.

Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park is located at an ecological crossroads. This is where the high Mojave Desert meets the low Colorado Desert. The result is an amazing desert flora, including the trees of the same name.

San Diego
