Indigenous-owned sustainable lodge

Welcome to the land of the Xeni Gwet'in (Honey-Gwa-teen), who belong to the Tsilhqot'in (Tsill-COAT-teen) Nation. Here you get to spend the night in one of the southernmost pristine wilderness areas in Canada. The land is owned by the First Nations, as is the lodge where you will spend the night. It's truly a wonderful, sustainable retreat for travellers looking for a deeper connection, cultural experiences and real nature adventures.

This unique experience includes accommodation, meals, guided activities and cultural experiences. Meals consist of a First Nations-inspired menu with traditional dishes such as fire-cooked bannock, fresh fish and roasted root vegetables. Cultural experiences during your stay include smudging, beadwork, historical tours and foraging. Guided activities include wild horse spotting (depending on the season season), hiking on Cardiff Mountain, and visiting a traditional village with a Tsilhqot'in guide.

After the abundance of guided activities there is also still time for fishing, mountain biking, kayaking, SUPing or canoeing. You have unlimited use of the lodge and the lake's amenities during your stay. There is a private jetty, a lake house with showers, a lounge and a communal outdoor campfire.
